Finding A Safe Place

At a time when our country feels more divided than ever, and opinions becoming touted as fact, I knew it was time to end my relationship with social media.

I became tired of the negativity and hate speech I was reading, and realized that my reasons for joining Instagram and Facebook were no longer there. My feeds which used to connect me with the heart community, were instead being bombarded by ignorance, injustice, racism, intolerance, and bigoted media. I deactivated my Facebook and Instagram platform, and will never look back.

This brings me to where I am today; my blog! This is MY site, with content controlled by me! My posts will always be relevant to the heart community, fitness lovers, and those looking for inspiration during a dark time. I will share my unfiltered fight against Congenital Heart Disease with you all, highlighting not just the lows, but also the highs!

This is a safe place for the heart community to come together, regardless of race, gender identity, political stance, and religion.

If you have questions about anything, just ask! If you would like me to write about specific topics, please reach out to me via the “contact” section of this blog. I would love to know what YOU as an audience would like to learn more about.

Thank you for stopping by and be on the lookout for more updates and posts from me!
